Abundant Rain Results

100+

projects completed

Caldwell Evangelical School RAIN1000 System

Since 2013, we have Installed over 100+ RAIN systems, providing clean drinking water to thousands of people across Liberia.

RAIN systems reduce the time and financial pressure that comes from struggling to access safe water.

Women and girls save up to 4 hours per day walking to and from the well, or waiting in long queues at water sachet kiosks.

50+

communities served

Po River Clinic, Rivercess County, RAIN40K System

Our RAIN systems have helped over 50 communities in ten counties in Liberia so far. By 2025, we intend to install clean drinking water systems in all fifteen counties.

The more communities who benefit from our work, the more people get excited about rainwater, and the more people we can help.

25,000+

people benefited

Students from a school served by a RAIN1000 system

Abundant RAIN systems have helped over 10,000 children gain access to clean drinking water in hospitals, clinics, schools and, colleges.

Because they no longer need to buy water in sachets, these facilities save over $2,000 USD per year and generate up to 25% less plastic waste.

In September 2023, the Paynesville City Corporation signed a letter of intent to gift us 63 sites for the RAIN + Recycling Station network. By 2029, it will serve over 250,000 residents with clean water, sanitation, and plastic waste management.

With the help of partners such as Conservation International, Concern Worldwide, Rotary International, and Ever Green Recycling Institute, the first station is underway and the second and third are planned to break ground in January 2024. We’re moving quickly to secure the funding for upcoming stations, order materials, and expand our teams to accelerate construction.

By 2029, the Paynesville RAIN + Recycling Station Network will deliver:

250,000 people

Receiving clean drinking water

16,380 MT of Plastic

Recycled every year

250,000 fewer cases

Of typhoid, dysentery, cholera, and Ebola
